SOUND OF MUSIC IN SKAGASTRÔND

What a bright new day!

My previous post was about the Icelandic storm. Well, it continued throughout the night till I went to bed. I woke up at 3am and noticed everywhere was calmed. There were no more storms. When peeped out, I could see normalcy even farther down at the sea.

Imagine being trapped for 48hours in your house because of powerful storms. I believed I made the right decision turning back half-way from the grocery store and returning to the house.

What would have happened if I’d insisted? Right now, I am just happy to be alive and healthy.

Today will start beautifully, I guess. From my desk, the brightness of the sun filters into the sitting room and there were no more cloud but clear sky.

There is going to be a big musical concert at the country bar this evening. Due to the bad weather, it was shifted from last Friday till this evening @ 17:00hrs. The artists are invited but like me, I prefer to stick right at my desk and work out the best script I can get from my head.

This simply means I will not be going.

Not too bad, right?
