Day 3 @ VALPARAISO FUNDACION

Yesterday went quietly, I was so tired from my trip that I couldn’t think of anything else than to sleep. And that’s exactly what I did throughout the afternoon.

Usually, I found it difficult to sleep in the afternoon but yesterday, it went quite easily. I was glad I did anyway.

I am going to give you brief detail about the other artists. We are eight and luckily all of us are women!

1) Susanne Jorn - Danish writer and Poet

2) Amy Clay – American Painter

3) Mona Dam – Danish Painter & Photographer

4) Julie Scandora – American Painter, Writer and Editor

5) Bodil Brems – Danish Painter and Video

6) Jessica Lott – American Writer

7) Adriana Victoria Lopez Vargas – American Writer and Editor

8) That’s me! 

They all are adult with right thinking mind and that makes it easier getting on together. You can imagine what would have happened if there are younger girls among us. They may be very difficult to control.

In the mornings and afternoon, each artist can eat anywhere she wants even at her writing or painting desk. But for dinner, it is a MUST that we all come together and this is where we tend to discuss a lots about each other’s writings, painting and general issues.

For once, I must be clear that this residency is going to be filled with lots and lots of knowledge to tap from.

I bet I won’t miss any of them for once!

See ya tomorrow!
